01. Visit the St. Louis Gateway Arch
The Gateway Arch represents the landmark structure that visualizes Louis. It also symbolises the Gateway into the West. Visitors have to walk to an observation platform on the top which has 610 meters of incline and gives an incredible view of the whole of the city.

03. Hear the Music in Branson
Branson in southwest Missouri claims its name as the "Live Country Music Capital" It attracts millions annually of visitors, mostly country music supporters. Hundreds of musical houses, motels, restaurants and souvenir shops offer a variety of kitsches at the "trip". This venue hosts the greatest country musicians.

04. Learn Wartime History at Wilson's Creek National Battlefield in Springfield
In October 1861, the Wilson Creek Battlefield witnessed combat between 11,000 Union troops and 5400 Confederates. Although Missouri had the victory the Confederacy was unable to fight in the next round.
Its blade belt is also on display at Wilson Creek's Creek Civil War Museum. A 4.9-mile trip route offers adequate parking for travelers to explore seven miles of paths connecting this beautiful landscape that is among the best sights of Missouri.

05. Visit Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum
At the Harry Truman Presidential Library in Independence, historical and artist artifacts have been displayed. This museum is dedicated exclusively to historical Harry S. Truman's Life and Times as seen by the American public between 1945 – 1953.
The grave sites of President Truman and his wife are located at the courtyard and the Truman's whitehouse model can be seen. Visitors will be able to explore the Victorian residence where the Truman family lived from 1919 to 1972 at the HarryS.

06. Enjoy the Rides at Silver Dollar City
Silver Dollar City is Branson's biggest theme park with crafts and the preservation of 1880 Ozark culture. Artists at this park demonstrate glassblowing, weaving baskets, pottery, candy making, and candles.
It also features rides and attractions, shopping mall restaurants and live shows. Marvel Caves are located within Silver Dollar City. It continues a traditional mining town that existed in 1880 near to the entrance into the cave. The cave has attracted many archaeologists since its discovery by the osage in the 1500s.

07. Tour the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum
Samuel Clemens was a young boy born in 1842 in a two-storey house that was built in 1843 to be used as a pen name. In 1912, the house was opened to the public and is renovated and furnished with a period feel.
The adjacent museum contains a pair of buildings where Twain collected books from early years, photography, and even the desk where they gathered for writing "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn".

08. Places to Visit in Missouri: Jefferson City

Missouri isn’t familiar with a national park, but Johnson’s Shut-in Stateparks are special. The shut-in section is related to their hard rock formation which resists erosion thus forming pools. Some people come here for the pleasure of visiting the park.

The pond at Table Rock Lake was built following the construction by Table Rock Dam over White River from the beautiful Ozark Mountains of Missouri. Its 45,000-acre water area and 800 miles of shoreline is protected from overdevelopment, and most of its natural environment.
