Kuranda is an undisputed popular tourist destination, not only the entrance into the rainforest, it also offers local businesses, a tree-top cable car, and a few relaxing locations – visiting is one of my favourite things about Cairns.
Are you looking forward to taking the flight across the mountains in Kurand? The Skyrail rainforest cableway offers breathtaking views across the tropical forests of Australia.

09. Swim at the Cairns Esplanade Lagoon
A particular favourite characteristic in the Tropical Northern Queensland villages has a man-made pool near the beach. If you weren't aware, the cruelty of the Australian North is your stinky hot summers. You can't swim at the beach, they have many stings – stingers – jellyfish that can kill you or kill your body. Some crocs also roam this area.
Sadly, Australia has many deadly beasts but it's possible to avoid these quickly and safely. Cairns'main beaches are more mud flat but not really nice. No worries, the Cairns Lagoon provides exactly what is needed. Clear sea, beaches, views, security and lifeguards.
