Sadly the water temperature at the lagoon remains very hot and it's not the best spot to dip in.

23. Walk the Nightcliff to Casuarina Coastal Walk

How would we have fun doing exercises while enjoying the beautiful views of Darwin? Then you'll go out of town for a walk on Nightcliff to Casaurina coastal walk. On AllTrails the tracks begin at Progress Avenue but at Nightcliff Jetty the closest place is the parking area.

Parking a car here, then walk towards Casaurina (to the right when facing the sea). The trail goes along beach to the river through some mangrove forest and ends in Casuarin Beach. It is an excellent day for Darwin tours. Although I'm not sure exactly what length of trail this is, it is about eight kilometers back.
